Life After Stardock?

Try as I might I cannot download this new theme, No problem entering serial number in both Impulse and MyColors but when It always shows download failed.

It is in the registration cache with the proper seiral number;

But it doesn't appear in Impulse. In MyColors it shows download available but always fails.

Can someone help me please?

Try closing Impulse and running the following file:

http://sd.stardock.com/curthendzell/fix_registrations.reg

Make sure to follow the link in Internet Explorer, as other web browsers will not handle the file type correctly.  Once you follow the link, save the file and double click it to apply it.  Then relaunch Impulse.  You will need to re-login with your username/e-mail (either will work) and password.

Yeah several times. But good news. After 5 restarts and 6 reenetering the key code it finally worked. Now how come I didn;t think of that before? LOL

I followed this advice and when Impulse restarted lots of things had gone missing, WB7 for example (again!) and it said Impulse was out of date. After downloading a new version still nothing.

It also shows a email address I last had nearly ten years ago and I can't see anywhere to change this.

To see pre-release versions of software in Impulse, click on the blue menu button in the upper left corner. Place a check in the box that says 'Show pre-release versions'. This will enable you to see the latest beta builds available for download.

 

It also shows a email address I last had nearly ten years ago and I can't see anywhere to change this.

If you need to update your email address, please visit the following site and log in: https://www.stardock.com/accounts/manage

Once you are logged in, click the 'Logon Info' tab. From here you can change your password and/or email address.

I just can't get the theme to download, no matter what I try.

Windows 7, 64 bit.

Found a workaround: Insert the serial number and download it from MyColors, rather than trying to install via Impulse.
